God Never Says "Oops"

Larry is lonely
He's been single all his blessed life
He's enjoyed all the freedom he can stand
And now he wants a wife
Just when He thinks God must have missed
That chapter of his story
He hears his Bible teacher sayin'
"You don't have to worry"

CHORUS:
God never says "oops"
He never says "pardon me"
He never says "my bad"
No, He doesn't need to make any apologies
He says what He does
And does what He says
You can trust His Word to be true
And He won't make His first mistake on you

Karen is crying
Late at night, while she says her prayers
The shadows of her childhood days
Haunt her everywhere
She wrestles with the reasons why
But even in her doubt
The Spirit says "I know you're down,
But baby, you're not out!" (CH)

BRIDGE:
Surrounded by the clouds of gray
We all stop and wonder
"How long must we stumble through this wilderness?"
But if we listen to the loving voice
Of the One who knows the way
"Follow me" is all He has to say (CH)
